As a result of the evaluation undertaken in accordance with the Direct Award Framework Guidance and Rules, Optum Health Solutions (UK) Limited - has been directly awarded as the Preferred Bidder for provision of a Prescribing Decision Support Tool NHS SBS Medicines Optimisation Prescribing Decisions Support Systems 3 Framework - Lot 1 SBS10252. - The scope of this service includes support to increase patient safety, clinical effectiveness of prescribing, and enabling the delivery of medicine optimisation with a prescribing decision support system across MSE Primary Care. The contract commences 01st September 2025 and expires 31st August 2027 with an option to extend for a further 12 months. The aggregate contract value awarded is £1,000,853.21 Inc VAT and £834,044.34 Exc VAT (£278,014.78 per annum Exc VAT and £333,617.73 Inc VAT). The Procurement Act guidance (Guidance: transitional and saving arrangements (HTML) - GOV.UK) states that any contracts awarded through a framework agreement under the previous legislation will continue to be managed in accordance with that legislation.
