What it is for

4040/AMRC/COMPASS/FREEZER/CK/24 Industrial Walk-in Freezer for COMPASS (Composites at Speed and Scale) Facility The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for an 'Industrial Walk-in Freezer' on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The tracking/traceability of stored items as well as product out-life monitoring is essential. It is expected that the supplied unit will have integrated safety and alarms systems , with connectivity to allow remote notification of issues to staff or appropriate entities. The supplied unit must be robust to accommodate all bulky/heavy stored items as well as pallet-truck access and manipulation (occasional forklift truck access and manipulation anticipated), as well as potential future relocation of the freezer unit itself to an alternative AMRC site. Stored items such as resin and hardener are likely to be large and heavy; access via lifting equipment is essential. The ITT can be downloaded by registering and…
