What it is for

Hertford Regional College (HRC) intends to appoint a provider with relevant experience and a proven track record to deliver enrichment to learners undertaking a programme of study. Applicants must be a professional football club in the top 4 levels of the national league system. The contract will be for the delivery of 288 hours of group football coaching for a cohort of 60 learners as part of the enrichment hours included in the level 2 and 3 Diploma in Sport and Physical Exercise and the level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Exercise. The maximum contract value to support this procurement will be £160,000 and a detailed breakdown of associated delivery costs must be provided. Delivery must meet the regulations for enrichment hours outlined in the ESFA Funding Rules. The provider ensure provision, even at lower levels, is clearly aligned to the destination curriculum model as well as supporting the College's rationale for subcontracting which can be found on our website https://www.hrc.ac.uk/about-hrc/partnerships-and-subcontractors Delivery must take place within 5 miles of the college campus in line with current regulations regarding distance subcontracting, all delivery should be completed by 31/07/2026. This procurement is being run under the "light touch regime" and within the timescales set out in the attachments below.
