What it is for

Hertford Regional College (HRC) intends to appoint a provider with relevant experience and a proven track record to deliver innovative adult learning. The contract will be for the delivery of learning against the funding the college receives from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) for the Adult Skills Fund (ASF) for learners aged 19+. Delivery must meet the regulations outlined in the ESFA Funding Rules. The provider should be able to deliver three discreet programmes aimed at engaging with: 1. hard to reach 19-24-year-olds on programmes linked to employers that provide opportunities for work trial / work experience linked to customer service. 2. learners aged 50+ looking to develop essential digital skills and work readiness skills to boost their employment opportunities. 3. learners aged 19+ who are looking to work with local employers in roles relating to door security. The delivery should be clearly aligned to the needs of the relevant employers and learners as well as supporting the College's rationale for subcontracting which can be found on our website https://www.hrc.ac.uk/about-hrc/partnerships-and-subcontractors HRC is seeking a provider that can deliver a combined maximum of 50 learners within a 25 mile radius of either of our campuses and all delivery should be completed by 31/07/2025.
