Compliant Award via NHSSC Medical IT Software and Hardware Solutions - 2020/S 114-277934 North Bristol NHS Trust and Universities Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust have obtained specific grant funding from SWAG (Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Gloucestershire) Cancer alliance for a 12-month pilot to assess the use of software to enhance the reporting diagnosis and management of pulmonary nodules. The pilot is to install specific software as proof of concept to assist radiologists in the detection, measurement and tracking of pulmonary nodules on chest CT scans. At the end of the 12 month Pilot, the Trusts shall review the success of the pilot and only at that time decide on next steps to support any longer-term strategy or future procurement opportunity.
