What it is for
NHS England plans to expand access for people with severe and enduring mental illness to Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services to achieve over and above existing NHS Long Term Plan targets. Competing local priorities and significant regional variations in provision has meant that targets are not being realised. This project presents the opportunity for a delivery partner to co-ordinate a response to the key implementation challenges and opportunities presented by the expansion. This project would run from 23/24 - 28/29 to support the expansion of the existing IPS programme and its adherence to the IPS Fidelity Model. A separate Single Tender Action BC-21501 for delivery of 23.24 is being submitted for approval as funding has been received so late in the financial year. The provider will operate across 8 regional locations and 42 IPS services across England. A market engagement event is due to be held at 12:00 - 13:00 on 23 May 2024. The purpose of the event is to provide an overview of the service specification relating to the procurement, and further detail on the procurement process. A Q&A will be held at the end of the event. The event will be recorded, and the recording will be made available after the event for reference and for the convenience of any Suppliers who could not attend on the day. To register for the event a notification should be sent via the Atamis messaging facility and be titled 'Registration for Market Engagement'. The message should contain the email address that you want the Teams invite sent to. You will then be free to circulate the invite within your organisation as you see necessary and there is no limit to the number of attendees per supplier.
