What it is for

Award of contract for the provision of therapeutic support for asylum seeking young people who are experiencing poor mental health and PTSD. The 'My View' programme aims to stabilise and improve the psychological and emotional wellbeing of separated children to enable them to engage with their education, life in the UK, and their asylum claim. It exists to fill the gap in provision through specialist support, with a tailored model of therapeutic care designed to meet separated children's unique cultural and experiential needs. As a short-term intervention, it aims to stabilise psychological and emotional wellbeing, and enables clients to access longer-term interventions if needed, via referrals to specialist services. Allowed for extension applied from 01.05.2026-31.03.2027
