What it is for

Within this project we will build a structure-property relationship around two constrained amine scaffolds, with a particular focus on tuning their photoluminescent properties. This will involve the strategic incorporation of fluorine atoms, and the analysis of this small compound library will be supported by a NMR probe which enables simultaneous 1H and 19F decoupling of 13C NMR spectra. The probe will also support the characterisation of key intramolecular distances through the acquisition of 1H NOE spectra.
