What it is for

The Department for Education is responsible for children's services and education, including early years, schools, higher and further education policy, apprenticeships and wider skills in England. We are the department for opportunity. We work to deliver better life chances for all - breaking the link between background and success. We do this by protecting children and ensuring the delivery of higher standards of education, training and care. We create opportunities for children and learners to achieve and thrive today, so they have the freedom to succeed and flourish tomorrow, strengthening our society, powering our economy and enabling equality. The Customer Experience and Design Division sits within the Customer Experience and Digital Directorate within DfE's Operations and Infrastructure Group. We partner with teams across DfE to champion user needs and connect, improve and simplify DfE's digital services, websites and online information. We are looking to procure a supplier to work with our Civil Servant staff, in blended and multi-disciplinary teams, to design and build user-centred digital services, websites and online information. The supplier will be working on multiple projects that form a programme of works and meet Government and DfE standards. The teams will be delivering projects at Discovery, Alpha and Beta stages.
