What it is for

Government funded (BSIP) scheme to create significant improvement in mobility and providing greater access to residents and visitors across the county. The aim is to ensure that DDRT is integrated seamlessly into the transport network, connecting with rail, conventional bus services and Mobility Hubs. 1 of 10 zones. These contracts will run for 2 years unless the Department for Transport (DfT) agree to an extension of a further year. This contract has been awarded. Additional Information Value is based on initial 2 year term only. If the contract is extended for a third year it will end on 31st March 2026. This value does not include a charge for operational mileage. This value is gross spend and does not take into account any revenue received. As of 01st April 2025, the council will utilise the 1-year extension permitted in the original tender documentation and subsequent contract letters. The extended contract will now end on 31st March 2026. There will be no changes to the specification.
