What it is for

Quotations are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of the Kirklees User Involvement and Kirklees Action Networks across Kirklees. The scheme is to provide an advocacy support service to people with a learning disability which promotes and supports the joint planning of health and social care services and other appropriate community services for people with a learning disability. It is to improve choice and control people with learning disabilities have about their own lives, and promote independence. It aims to develop a better community wide understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability as equal members of the community. This contract is anticipated to commence on 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2028, with provision to extend by a further two (2) x twelve (12) month periods.
