What it is for

As part Historic England's review across our office estate in terms of investment to meet our net zero commitments, business requirements and staff needs, we are seeking to engage the services of a suitably qualified team to design a rightsized office space to reduce operational costs and improve space utilization, aligning with the guidance in the Estates Strategy to right-size offices to their average usage, which suggests individually allocated desks could be reduced from 370 (with associated facilities) down to between 60 (average minimum) and 150 (average maximum) non-allocated workstations. The final design should be able to accommodate at least 120 workstations in all. We have proposed to reuse over 85% of the existing facilities (furniture, IT equipment, etc) This mini tender is to: 1) Produce three costed alternative spatial coordination design options, up to RIBA stage 3, for office accommodation and fit out 2) Advise on the most suitable Form of Contract for the works based on the nature of the works and budget
