What it is for
Trial of ATS (applicant tracking system). The system is designed to reduce the potential for bias at the shortlisting stage of the recruitment process. This is the stage where we have seen the biggest drop-off in Black, Asian and Ethnically Diverse candidates. This approach to shortlisting offered by this system has been approved by Board as a trial for 50 vacancies. Following the trial, a decision about how we recruit/ shortlist candidates to achieve our diversity targets will be made and a full procurement process will follow.
