Additional information: As a result of the incumbent patient transport provider ceasing trade and entering administration, the Trust has had to accelerate commercial discussions and to award this contract as a direct award compliantly under the East of England - Transportation: Patients and Specialist Courier Services - OJEU Reference: 2020/S 220 under Lot 1a - continuation of services, protect patient safety and preserve public funds. Further to this Contract Award, KCH are currently in the process of gathering requirements and market intelligence and will issue a prior information notice in due course for the re-procurement of a longer term solution.
