What it is for

The requirement is to support police forces as they implement the National Operating Model for the investigation of rape and support those investigating rape and sexual offences to build strong and thorough cases which are suspect-focused, victim-centred and context-led. This includes developing or supporting the Authority to develop products which may be incorporated into the National Operating Model for the investigation of rape and serious sexual offences, with a view to ensuring the Model can be sustained by policing, from entry to strategic management. Pillar 6 relates to work to embed digital good practice in relation to RASSO investigations into the NOM. The Supplier will develop and support the national uptake of key digital, 'best practice' products such as the Digital Investigative Framework and Digital Strategy in support of RASSO investigations. Support the development of digital components of the Specialist Sexual Assault Investigators Development Programme. Meet with the requirements for effectively working with the NOM and to its aims. There are a number of deliverables required for Pillar 6.
