Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) is inviting tenders for the concession of a Festive \r Experience event, historically a Father Christmas event, at its annual ice rink in Calverley \r Grounds.\r \r Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is inviting tenders for the concession of a Festive Experience\r event at its annual ice rink in Calverley Grounds. The contract term will be an initial 1 year with \r a possible three annual extensions (1+1+1), extension subject to performance review and \r event approval. This year's event will run from 29 November 2024 - 5 January 2024. If future \r events go ahead the ice rink will open and close at a similar time period.\r \r The Ice Rink has been running in Calverley Grounds for 13 years. Last season (2023-24) it \r attracted 43,004 skaters, with increased footfall to the area from visitors watching the skaters \r or who just come along for a walk within the grounds.
