What it is for

The Council is seeking a Service Provider to deliver a reliable and efficient bunkered fuel service to support its Passenger Fleet Transport operations. This fleet is integral to fulfilling the Council's statutory responsibilities, including providing transportation for service users such as vulnerable adults and children to special educational needs or disability establishments.\\r\r \\r\r The Council requires bulk purchase and management of EN590 white road-grade diesel, which will be placed into the bunker network operated by UK Fuels. Council staff will access the purchased fuel via fuel cards issued by providers such as UK Fuels from multiple forecourts across the UK. Ensuring uninterrupted fuel availability is essential to maintain the quality and reliability of services provided by the Council.\\r\r \\r\r Extensions to the contract may be granted based on satisfactory performance, value for money, and adherence to budgetary constraints. \\r\r Additional information: Please note that the contract value covers both the variable fuel price and the fixed supplier margin of +2.32ppl per litre of fuel for the bunkered service
