What it is for

Dudley MBC is looking to set up work programmes for delivering major adaptations and housing assistance schemes together with all associated works to council owned, privately owned, privately rented and housing associated rented homes within the Borough of Dudley. The Council is looking for up to three contractors to undertake each of the three separate work streams identified below: - a) Major adaptations and associated works within council owned properties. b) Disabled Facilities Grant funded major adaptations and associated works, including the option for all design work within privately owned, privately rented and housing associated rented properties. c) Housing Assistance Grant funded works and associated work within privately owned properties. Approximate contract values will be as below, each over the 4 years:- a) £5,000,000 GDP b) 10,000,000 GDP c) 2,000,000 GDP There are no guarantees, however, that this level of work will be available throughout the contract term, nor are there any guarantees that the issue of work to any contractor will be to this value. The contract is expected to run for four years. The expected commencement date is 1st August 2025 with a completion date of 31st July 2029.
