What it is for

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is a Unitary council providing a wide range of services including but not limited to refuse collection, highways maintenance, parks & ground maintenance, catering, cleaning, museums, libraries, gardening, community transport, community protection, adult and children social care, education and support services. The Council's leisure services are provided by Tees Active with several leisure facilities under lease from the Council. Housing management functions are provided by an external Registered Housing Provider. The Council has reviewed its approach to managing fire risks across its estate and needs external support to review/ develop Fire Strategies in most of its buildings. These include a mix of care homes, administration buildings, depots, community centres, maintained schools etc. Tees Active (operator of leisure centres) may also require fire strategies. This was a Further Competition from the CPC - FS2 Fire Safety Framework, Lot 1A - Fire Consultancy - To award a contract to a suitably qualified consultant to undertake retrospective fire strategies in high risk buildings (care homes and depots).
