What it is for

Ordnance Survey Ltd (OS) is Britain's mapping agency and is responsible for the surveying, production, maintenance and marketing of a wide range of geographic information, relied on by government, business and individuals. Further information on us can be found on our website http://www.os.uk. OS is a private limited company (company registration number 09121572), and the entire share capital is owned by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. This requirement is for the provision of Vehicle Hire Services for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes for OS staff to utilise for business travel. OS are seeking a Supplier with the capabilities and capacity to provide hire vehicles that are fit for purpose, roadworthy, environmentally friendly and cost-effective across the UK. Ordnance Survey anticipate using both short term and long-term hires. The hires are as and when required, and dependent on business needs. Previously OS have booked 120 vehicle hires over a one year period, with more than 10,000 rental days. OS does not commit to any minimum spend or hire days/durations as part of this contract. Ordnance Survey is carrying out this procurement as a Further Competition through the framework CCS Framework: RM6265 Vehicle Hire Solutions and Lot 1: Hire of Vehicles up to 3.5T.
