What it is for

Wednesfield High Street is a priority area for investment, performing an important role locally, with the nearby Bentley Bridge retail park and other facilities attracting visitors from a wider catchment. This project comprises improvements to Wednesfield High Street to provide enhanced facilities, increase footfall and attract further investment and development. Proposals include the creation of an improved market area with the addition of canopies to create a covered new events space. Improved lighting and seating with additional trees and planting will create a safe and attractive walking and cycling environment. The RIBA Stage 4 phase involves finalising the detailed technical design to enable procurement and construction activities. Amey's role includes design coordination, stakeholder integration, and ensuring compliance with technical standards, site constraints, and project objectives. This contract is a call off of the MHA PSP4 Framework Lot 1.
