What it is for

For the supply of goods and services in respect of existing equipment utilised for edge switching and Wi-Fi that are end of life. The need is to replace this equipment, software (licenses) and some professional services for the installation/implementation to cover equipment lifespan contract duration of five years. The aims/objectives/service priorities of this contract are: The Council wishes to replace the equipment located at its primary and two secondary locations. For prospective supplier's information, the Primary location is Queens Buildings, Worksop. Whilst the other locations are located at Carlton Forest and Retford. The Council's ICT Strategy is to, where possible, source 'on cloud' accordingly. It would be willing to invite solutions which meets this part of its strategy. It must, however, be pointed out that any proposed solution must satisfy the Council of its obligations and must be able to prove adherence to all relevant data security, sovereignty, PSN and information regulations that apply to us.
