What it is for

City Development are now required to appoint a main design and build partner to move forward with a series of master-planning, demolition, infrastructure and associated highway works to be funded from DLUHC Strategic Futures grant in 2024/5. Due to grant funding agreement, there are time constraints attached to the site development. Two key phases are now required: Master planning and infrastructure works. Preparation of a masterplan to shape and guide the delivery of PV South as a high quality, comprehensively planned development. A series of demolition, highways and options for high-level infrastructure works against the masterplan to ensure future development plots are fully co-ordinated and to accelerate future development by removing abnormal costs/risk and assisting with development viability. Development phase. An option appraisal will be undertaken to inform a development and delivery strategy reflecting the masterplan, the MoU with university as joint landowner and opportunities presented by the LCR Life Science Investment Zone for growth in this sector on this site. A pre construction services agreement is now awarded via Pagabo Framework Major Works Construction Framework Lot 1 (£5m-15m) to Morgan Sindall. Subsequent works contracts will follow as part of total award
