What it is for

Most street lighting on NH's Network is un-metered, which means that electricity supplier billing (approximately £40m per year) is based upon lighting inventory data. Estates & Facilities introduced Alloy in 2020 as a replacement to the legacy Street Lighting Database (SLD). This was to address resilience and functional concerns regarding the continued use of SLD.
