What it is for

The purpose of this project is to scrutinise policy options that have been developed by a stakeholder-led working group to inform Government's strategic approach to PFAS policy. These policies are aimed at helping industry to transition away from the use of PFAS where possible. The policy options developed were made with the following aims: • Overcoming technical hurdles, common barriers and challenges of moving away from PFAS • Government support for innovation for cost-effective alternatives to PFAS • Government policy options that could accelerate leadership by industry users in moving away from PFAS.
